Using Google Keyword Planner

Boost your traffic using Google Keyword Planner

I want to ask you one simple question, ‘How many visitors do you have daily on your blog?’ If you have daily visitors up to 1000 then it is a good thing. But, if you have traffic less than 1000 per day even after spending about half a year and so then, there might be some problem with your keywords. A good keyword often leads to a good traffic.

Less traffic on the website is the biggest reason why most of the people quit blogging. Having less knowledge of SEO is the factor of gaining fewer visitors on the blog. But, what if I say you can boost your traffic using Google Keyword Planner.

Yes, you read that right. There are many tools available on the internet which provides you the right keyword for your article. You can use them and gradually increase your traffic. Some tools are free to use while some are paid. If you are rich enough to use paid tools which give you right keywords, I suggest you to use Semrush and LongTailPro. These will provide you keywords for any niche. And if you want to use the free keywords research tool (like me), you have no other best choice than the Google Keyword Planner.

There are still millions of websites whose traffic completely depend upon the social and offline networks. They have not such keywords to rank into the Google search results. As a blogger, I know how much important the organic traffic is for your website. So, to rank in the search results, you must have a proper keyword.

You can find the appropriate keywords for your niche/ article from Google Keyword Planner. For using this, you must have an account on Google AdWords. There you will see tools option. When you click on it, you will find the Google Keyword Planner tool. This is your destination. You can type any keyword here and find the competition on it. Thereafter you can use the keywords best matching for your article and boost your traffic.

Difference between free and paid tools

One question must have arisen in your mind (if you had paid attention) that what is the need of using the paid keyword research tools when we are getting it for free. I want to clarify you that the competition in the internet is very high today. So, the paid tools offer the most appropriate and to the point keywords to their users. Even Google Keyword Planner is good but it legs behind when it comes to providing the accurate keyword to the users. That’s the reason the top bloggers use the paid ones to rank higher on the search results.

Conclusion

So, I hope from now onwards you will use the Keyword planner to boost your traffic and gain some decent organic traffic. This will definitely result in earning some more money. If you have any queries regarding the post, you are free to comment below. You can find our other articles here.

  1. Where do I put my chosen key words for them to be picked up by google? In my titles ? The first paragraph? I have a SEO title and description plugin but I dont know if Im using it right.

  2. Definitely taking all of this into consideration and using some of the tools mentioned! Thank you for the tips and tricks

  3. I applaud the intent of this post but it is incomplete without screenshots (insofar as Google Adwords go). Could you please write another post on how to analyze the keywords and select the best ones. This is something I still struggle with.
    Thank you.
